This native IP mobile operates at up to 128 Kbps in 50 kHz channels at 700 MHz or 64 kbps in 25 kHz channels at 800 MHz, UHF or NPSTC channels - all with exceptional adjacent channel protection. The GeminiG3 automatically adapts to the speed of the base station for maximum network flexibility.
Parallel Decode® virtually eliminates multi-path problems. Our highly efficient air protocol assures maximum user data throughput - enough to support video from a patrol car.
Stateless Data Compression and Protocol Reduction. Works with both TCP/IP and UDP to get the most efficient use of your available bandwidth without needing a dedicated server or gateway.
Internal 12-channel WAAS capable GPS receiver. Designed for improved accuracy, integrity, and availability of the basic GPS signals. With out-of-band signaling and autonomous AVL, you can transmit GPS position reports with no adverse effect on system throughput.
Easily integrate peripherials. Using standard Ethernet 10/100 BaseT automatic MDIX, the GeminiG3 interfaces with any Ethernet device. In addition, the Gemini G3 provides two RS-232 ports configured as terminal servers and a built-in router. Using an in-car hub or switch makes adding other peripherals, such as a camera, a snap.
Easy Network Management. Embedded web server provides browser access to general device information and configuration of network parameters. The entire unit, including the operating system, can be re-programmed over the air. AES 128-bit encryption ensures that both the data and the network remain secure.
Standard on and offline diagnostics. Get real-time network performance information. When combined with our optional NMS package, network administrators have proactive tools to collect and analyze diagnostic information to assure the reliability of your data network.
