LMU-4000
Location Messaging Unit

The LMU-4000 Location Messaging Unit is a fifth generation, GPS based location device that features cutting-edge location technology in an affordable device. The LMU-4000’s rugged design meets strict U.S. Military and SAE specifications for harsh environments.

Features:

  • Monitoring Intelligence - Each unit is embedded with an on-board alert engine called the Programmable Event Generator (PEG™) , which monitors and reacts to vehicle conditions based on pre-determined rules or thresholds.

  • Guaranteed Messaging - The LMU-4000 logs up to 10,000 locations and alerts when a vehicle is outside of network coverage. That’s almost 3 weeks worth of data. In addition, its acknowledgement scheme essentially guarantees that critical information is captured and delivered to the end user.

  • Over-the-Air Programmability - The LMU-4000 is over-the-air programmable so that firmware, configuration parameters and PEG™ rules can easily be updated without a direct-cable connection keeping vehicles on the road and outside of service yards.

  • Competitive Pricing - The LMU-4000 is designed to beat the competition not only in its smart design features, but also through its competitive pricing. When combined with its intelligent design, the LMU-4000 delivers value where others lag behind.
