The CalAmp 882 Series Cellular Modems/Routers are external 3G cellular broadband routers with integrated DHCP server, port forwarding and port mapping capabilities to provide wireless data connectivity through public cellular networks.
Our ready-to-deploy wireless 3G cellular routers not only address your wireless communication needs, they also provide faster time-to-market. So un-wire your existing networked machines, systems and next generation devices to address multiple applications and markets with a single flexible platform provided by the 882 series routers. The 882 has been successfully deployed across diverse fixed or even mobile applications. Use it to establish an Internet connection at 3G speeds, provide a fail-over back-up for other broadband connections (like DSL) and provide high-speed connectivity for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ethernet web cameras or other Ethernet devices. In a broadband CDMA 1xEV-DO Rev. A configuration, the 882 supports 1xEV-DO Rev. 0 and 1xRTT operation at reduced rates.
