CalAmp’s Skybility GX820 module provides a flexible turnkey module solution that can be used to implement all of the functionality of a GSM/GPRS/Control Channel cellular transceiver into a variety of embedded applications. Designed to operate on the North American GSM frequency bands, the dual-band configuration provides coverage wherever 850MHz or 1900MHz GSM networks are in operation, as well as on the North American Analog Control Channel networks. The GX820 leverages the low cost and broad coverage available with control channel today, combined with the digital future of GSM.
