The MTU-100 is a fully sealed mobile tracking product designed for battery operation in between charging. The MTU-100 is an ideal solution as an asset monitoring, safety, or theft recovery protection for personal assets such as patients, work force, VIPs, and Pets or mobile assets such as construction equipment, containers, or high value portable units.

The MTU-100 features a small size, superior GPS performance, advanced power management. Superior Internal antennas for both cellular and GPS enable tracking in areas previously off limits to GPS tracking units. The MTU-100 is easily attached to assets with a strap, magnet, or mounting strip. Messages are transported across the GSM/GPRS network using enhanced SMS or UDP messaging providing a reliable communications link between the device and your application servers. The MTU-100 delivers a new level in standby current consumption. The device’s intelligent power management algorithms result in a deep sleep mode current of 500 μA when the product is on deep sleep mode.

Flexibility

The MTU-100 employs CalAmp’s industry leading on-board Alert Engine, PEG™ (Programmable Event Generator). This advanced application monitors vehicle conditions and supports hundreds of customized exception-based rules to help meet customers' dynamic requirements. Customers can modify the behavior of the device to meet numerous different applications at before shipment or in the field. Over-the-air Serviceability

The MTU-100 also incorporates CalAmp’s industry leading over-the-air device management and maintenance software, PULS™ (Programming, Update and Logistics System). Configuration parameters, PEG scripts, and firmware can all be updated over the air. Our web-based maintenance server, PULS™, offers out-of-the-box hands free configuration and automatic post-installation upgrades. You can also monitor unit health status across your customers’ fleets to quickly identify issues before they become expensive problems.
